Privacy policy
We use the minimum data needed to operate accounts, protect access, deliver learning, process enrollment and track progress.
Account data
This may include the student name, student phone, guardian phone, governorate, email, academic year and track. Passwords are never stored in readable form; WordPress stores a secure password hash.
Learning and progress
The platform records what is needed to show progress, such as lesson access, video progress, assessment attempts, scores, homework and grading status. This data is used to operate learning and support.
Browser authorization
To protect paid courses, the platform uses a random secret token in the authorized browser. The server stores a cryptographic token digest rather than the token itself. Administration can reset authorization when a student moves to a new browser or device.
Orders and payments
WooCommerce is the order, price and payment-status record. When payment is selected, the information needed to process the transaction is sent to Fawaterak, such as name, email, phone, order items and amount. AL-FAYED does not collect or store card numbers, CVV, PIN or OTP codes.
External services
The platform may rely on external services required for a user-selected function, such as Fawaterak for payments, YouTube for unlisted video playback and an email service for password-recovery links. No data is sent to an AI provider unless that feature is explicitly enabled later with a defined policy and approved knowledge source.
Retention and choices
Account and learning data is retained as needed to provide the service and preserve educational and financial records. Order and payment history may need to remain even after access is revoked for financial or operational reconciliation. Contact platform administration to request a data correction or ask a privacy question.
